The Association of Ebira Progressive Youth, Lokoja chapter, has assured the Kogi (Koton Karfe) Administrator, Hon. Tanko Musa of the group’s readiness to work for the reelection of Governor Yahaya Bello.
The group made this known during a solitary visit to the Koton Karfe Administrator in his Lokoja residence on Sunday.
In a welcoming address, the spokesperson of the group, Comrade Aminu Muhammad stressed on the dire need to support the Bello-led administration to jointly fight against the rot in government inherited from past administrations.
“The new direction has done awesomely well in reviving the decaying civil service system and any government that wishes to succeed and utilitize state resources must first block all leakages in the government coffers,” he said.
He informed the Council boss of the group’s resolve to sensitize the citizenry on the benefits inherent in the new direction policies.
“Our major priority is helping this government in its quest to elevate our state to an enviable height of excellence. This association has in stock an upcoming football competition that will go a long way to unite all lovers of soccer.”
The chairman of the association, Mr Sani Idris thanked the Council Administrator for the warm reception and his commitment to the development of Koton Karfe.
“I am well pleased with your devotion to this administration. Indeed, your love for our brother is unquantifiable and may you be rewarded with better position.”
The media and publicity secretary, Mr Ibrahim Ibrahim congratulated the newly elected House of Assembly members in the state and acknowledged the vibrant contribution of Mr Tanko Musa which, according to him, gave APC a landslide victory in Koton Karfe.
“Honestly, we are victorious already. Making an unprecedented history by clearing all the 25 seats at the State House of Assembly is no small feat.”
Reacting, the Senior Special Adviser to the Administrator, Alhaji Idris Musa congratulated the association for taking the right step at the right time.
He stressed on the need to support Governor Bello’s reelection as it is the only government that can bury nepotism, tribal sentiment and bigotry in the state.
“We have seen difference in the history of the state, particularly in politics. You all have come in at the right time, we will give all the needed support and work hand in hand for the progress of the state.”
The Administrator thanked the association for taking the bold step to identify with the good work of Governor Bello.
“I am happy with anything that will bring about victory for Governor Bello. I am ready to give totally support and listening ears to your plight every time, my doors are opened for contribution always.”
