We are left laughing at the lines of pain and frustrations, haphazardly put together by the ADC in its raw submission, signed by their spokesgrandpa in reaction to the great return of the payment of SSCE Examination fees popularly known as WAEC for all students in public secondary schools in Kogi state, in fulfilment of the promise made some few months ago by His Excellency, Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, in continuation of the Implementation if it’s free education policy in the state.
It is pathetic and most unfortunate to note that the ADC which started paying WAEC fee for students in Yagba Federal Constituency, one of the nine federal constituencies few years ago, and managed to extend part payment to another federal constituency in Kogi West Senatorial district last year alone, leaving out, even Lokoja Koto Federal Constituency in the same Senatorial district is now sad, confused and sapped about this wider benefiting great developement for the benefit of our children across the state, all because of parochial self-centered interest.
May we remind the ADC and her aged Spokesgrandpa that, it was a tradition before H.E Capt. Idris Wada of the PDP stopped it, long before Leke ventured into politics.
We are not unaware that, this action has debased their lies in the Okun part of the state, as they are now unstable, rattled and worried over their failed dream, sweeping them off their incoherent feets of deceits toward the 2023 Governorship election.
We are not surprised though, that the same characters and party, the ADC, a sub- federal constituency party in the part of Kogi West, went berserk and screaming to heavens, some few months ago, when the same APC Government under His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, gave a University to the good people of OkUN, to ensure that it joyfully gained from it’s over three decades (30 yrs) pursuit for a University.
It’s childish, unprogressive, wicked and narrow minded to think that the payment of fees for WAEC for students in SSS3 in the entire state will make any responsible mind unhappy, just because of personal political reason, when indeed they are paying for just a fragment even in part and not whole.
We call on the great people of Kogi state to continue to support the APC and ensure it retained LUGARD House, by voting our candidate, Alhaji Ododo Usman Ahmed come next saturday, when it will be absolutely clear, that Kogi Agenda supersedes all mushroom agendas.
“If we do not see their buying of seized and used vehicles for some Obas in Kogi West as vote buying, why should they see this wonderful gesture in continuity of the state practice of payment of WAEC fee as vote buying?” We ask, would they rather prefer that the students are left unassisted?
It is our one kobbo advice, that, no sane mind should see doing good to humanity as inducing, they should rather brace up and come up with good strategies if indeed they have one.
It is also important to advice Grandpa Shola Samuel Adebola “Gaddafi,” to stop raising his Bp, concentrate on enjoying his political retirement meal from Leke Abejide and start writing in corporate manners, rather than being petty, vulgar and ranting at his age, thereby, unnecessarily pumping his blood pressure up on personal grounds for official matters.
