Wada Woos More Foreign Investors To Kogi

In his quest to industrialize and to boost the socio-economic activities of the state, the Governor of Kogi State, Capt Idris Wada, in his recent trip to foreign countries has met with interested foreign business partners who are willing to invest in the state.

Capt Idris Wada while disclosing this to the Confluence CableNews today said, apart from providing an advanced regulatory and administrative framework and creation of attractive environment for domestic and foreign investments to achieve diversity in the economic and productive environment in order to continue creating job opportunities for the sons and daughters of Kogi State, there was need for government to identify interested parties who can do the business of industrializing the state.

According to the statement, the foreign partners will tap into the abundant natural resources of the state and will also invest in the key sectors of the state’s economy such agriculture, tourism and education.

While thanking the people of the state for their collective effort in peace building in the state, the governor noted that no meaningful development can be achieved in the absence of peace and stressed on the need for the people to maintain their cooperations and supports for his administration for the holistic realization of his government’s transformation agenda.
