He gave the assurance while speaking at the grand finale and prize presentation to the winners of the academic excellence competition organised by the state for the secondary school students and undergraduates schooling in the state.
While students from Idah Local Government council came first and rewarded with N150, 000 and a laptop, Ogori and Kabba-Bunu which took second and third position went home with N120, 000 and N100, 000, respectively.
The governor however, noted that the quiz and essay competitions among secondary and tertiary school students respectively was to encourage healthy competition among them as well as promotion of performance in examinations.
He said the competition with participants from across the 21 local government council areas of the state would also expose students to public speaking.
