Winner of last Saturday’s governorship election in Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada has stretched out an arm of fellowship to his friend, Prince Abubakar Audu of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and 17 other fellow contestants to join him in moving the state forward.
In his acceptance speech, Wada described his victory as a big challenge.
The governor-elect also pledge to form a government saturated with technocrats to steer the ship of governance.
Wada assured the good people of Kogi State that his administration rather than being vindictive would run an all-inclusive government when the ship of governance commences operation.
He said, “I congratulate those who contested against me for putting up a good fight. I call on them to join hands with me and my deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, to move Kogi State forward.
