The administration of Captain Idris Wada and Arch Yomi Awoniyi has failed Kogites, and consequently, they do not deserve a second term in office.

It is a well-known fact the economy has continued to nosedive, there is an absence of clear vision by the Wada-led government meanwhile the continuity crusaders have continued to distort the true information that all is well.

Beyond the lopsided and late payment of salaries and wages in the state and the periodic uncoordinated awarded of contracts in state, the government of Idris Ichalla Wada has not fulfilled the mandate given to him in 2012 to govern Kogi state. It is trite to state that the main purpose
of government is to serve the people through the state is still a mirage, while Lokoja, the state capital remains an urban slum, a situation caused by the lack of a comprehensive development blueprint.

Disorderliness and lawlessness in the state have become the order of the day while the
absence of governance is very noticeable, for anyone to think to vote or encourage anyone to vote for this regime is a travesty of intelligence. There has been a failure of leadership.

In spite of the fact that we suffer from collective amnesia – most of us are guilty of that collective forgetfulness – what has happened in the educational sector, where the state university established by ex-governor Prince Audu was grounded; where teachers and other workers went on strike for more several months. Where has it ever happened?

Using all indices of development, do you believe, as a Kogite, that the current government deserves a second term in office? To the best of my knowledge and other progressive minded citizens, the current administration in the last four years has achieved little or nothing.
