Dear President Muhammadu Buhari,
Recall that Safiya S. Musa was one of the three persons from Kogi state nominated and screened for ministerial position in 2017 but Mr Ocheni was appointed. We wish to plead with you to kindly open your file and appoint her from the remaining two now that Mr Ocheni has finished his tenure.
This call is necessary because of what Safiya Musa represents; young, intelligent, competent, empathetic, hard working, selfless, and has respect for constituted authority. She is a detribalized nationalist who believes in the unity of the Nation.
As a banker with over 15 years experience, I have no doubt that she will bring her local and international banking experience into your administration. As a philanthropist, she will harmonise her personal gestures to the human race with your 3 points agenda.
May we kindly remind Mr President, that Kogi state has never had a woman in that capacity, thus availing one of Kogi women in your cabinet this time will surely change the narrative. Safiya Musa will represent her fellow women from Kogi state with competence and the fear of God.
Finally, Mr President, Safiya Musa has been your ardent follower and believer of your ability and capacity to reposition this country. Please give her the opportunity to continue serving our people through your administration.
