Kogi state chairman, United Labour Congress (ULC), Comrade Simeon Opaluwa has commended members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) for reelecting the state chairman, Comrade Onuh Edoka and his entire executive.
In a congratulatory message sent to the state NLC, Opaluwa hailed the peaceful and successful election that return all current leaders on the labour union.
He called on the leaders of NLC to see their re-election as a call for continued fight for improved welfare of Kogi workers.
“We hope that your re-election will further strengthen our fight against the injustices been meted out on the workers and pensioners through the non-payment of salary and pension as an when due in the state,” he said.
