President, National Association of Okun Students (NAOS), University of Jos chapter, Comrade Martins Taiwo has assured new students of warm reception by the body.
Addressing newsmen in Jos, Martins disclosed that NAOS will organise a special programme on Saturday 22nd July to welcome the new Okun students to the university. Dignitaries within and outside Plateau state are expected to grace the occasion.
According to Martins, the event will be chaired by the Majority Leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Kolawole Matthew and chairman, Kogi State chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Oladele Nihi will be the guest speaker.
Other dignitaries expected are; Comrade Adetayo Opeyemi Duke, Prince Arokoyo, who is the President, Okun Development Association (ODA) Plateau state chapter and Comrade Habeeb Ibrahim, the NAOS National President. Okun lecturers in the University of Jos will be serve as hosts.
He called on all Okun students on the campus to come out en masse to make the day memorable. He enjoined every Okun students to be law abiding and peaceful.
