The United Nations Agency for Economic and Social Council (UNESC) has appointed Amb. Success Ebije Omada as the Senior Projects Supervisor in Nigeria.
Omada who hails from Bagaji Odo, Omala local government area of Kogi state has won several awards in recognition to his contributions to the growth and wellbeing of humanity.
The award winning Omada was last year conferred with Ambassador of Peace award by the Peace Corps of Nigeria.
While presenting the appointment letter to him on Tuesday at the Council Headquarters in Abuja, the Council Chairman, Prof Nathan Tor Luga disclosed that the appointment is in recognition of his competence and contribution to the growth of the society.
He said the appointment is with immediate effect and urged Omada to put in his best for the benefit of humanity.
Reacting to the appointment, Hon. Emmanuel Ibrahim Complete noted that the award was well deserved.
He said he was not surprised by the myriads of awards and appointment bestowed on Amb. Omada, saying he has paid his dues on all facet of lives.
According to the educationist cum politician, “it is a thing of joy and pride for sons and daughters of Bagaji Odo in Omala LG to have one of their own appointed by the United Nations Agency in Nigeria.
“We are proud of his exploits and we believe that his achievements will spur many of our compatriots to strive hard for excellence. The appointment as a project supervisor with an agency of the United Nation is a tonic for every one us to climb the ladder of success.
“We are grateful to God Almighty ,and the United Nations for the Appointment. I assure the UN that Amb Success will not let them down. He will surely give account of the stuff he is made of to justify the confidence repose in him.”
