Traditional Leaders Celebrates Official Opening Ceremony of COE Technical Mopa

The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni and the Olu of Ayegunle Gbede, His Royal Highness, Oba (Hon.) Lateef Folorunsho Haruna joined the Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olumuyiwa Ibeun in celebrating the official commencement of academic activities at the Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, on Thursday.

The ceremony also featured the presence of the college’s Provost, Mrs. Jagboro Victoria Olushola.

The event marked a significant milestone for the institution which was official relocated to Mopa land by the Kogi State Government under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, former Governor of the state. The college which was previously located in Kabba was relocated to Mopa following the establishment of Kogi State University in Kabba.

Traditional leaders and dignitaries expressed their enthusiasm for the new academic year and the potential benefits the college’s relocation would bring to the Mopa community. Their participation underscored the importance of educational development in the region and the commitment of local authorities to supporting such initiatives.
