A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Chief Anthony Ogah, has urged Governor Yahaya Bello to work more with the APC structure in the state and not on individual basis in the interest of the party.

Ogah said it is important for the governor to consider those who worked for the victory of the party in the November 16, 2019 governorship election in appointments.

“If our party, the APC, must remain viable in the state beyond Governor Yahaya Bello’s tenure, he must engage more with the party structure, instead of individuals,” he said.

According to him, the state party chairman and his executive members should be the only channel through which the party appointment flow down to the members and not the other way around to ensure that the party remain strong beyond 2023.
