The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has appointed Chief Paul Chukwuma as its Deputy Director General for the South-East region, a decision aimed at strengthening the organization’s grassroots mobilization, strategic coordination, and stakeholder engagement across the area.
The announcement was contained in an official statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by the National Publicity Secretary of the group, Arch. Ahmed Kabiru Abdullahi. According to the leadership of TSG, Chukwuma’s selection reflects his extensive professional credentials, political experience, and track record in public governance and humanitarian service.
Chukwuma, an alumnus of Lagos Business School and a legal practitioner called to the Nigerian Bar in July 2025, possesses a varied academic background. He earned first-class degrees in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Law from Baze University, Abuja, before obtaining a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and IT Law with distinction from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

Prior to this appointment, he served as National Auditor on the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress. He further expanded his political footprint as the Young Progressives Party candidate in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State governorship election, acquiring direct experience in campaign organization, grassroots mobilization, and electoral strategy.
Beyond mainstream politics, Chukwuma holds significant positions in higher education governance, currently serving as Pro-Chancellor of Benue State University, a role he assumed in June 2024. He is also the founder and Pro-Chancellor of Olivia University in Bujumbura, Burundi.
In public service and philanthropy, he chairs the Sir Paul Chukwuma Foundation and serves as Charter President of the Rotary Club of Umueri. He is a member of Rotary International’s Arch Klumph Society, an honor awarded for substantial contributions to global humanitarian programs.
The Tinubu Support Group expressed confidence that Chukwuma will bring his experience in law, political organization, and institutional leadership to bear in advancing the group’s presence and objectives throughout the South-East zone.
