It was a beautiful and dramatic moment at the Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday 10th July, 2019.The Super Eagles of Nigeria pounded the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 2 – 1 to qualify for the semifinal of the 2019 African Cup of Nation.

All the drama, jeers and cheers were to the advantages of the Nigerian senior national team the Super Eagle, coach Boxter of South Africa could not believe what transpired at the showpiece. The most glamorous part of the match was the home support given by the Egyptians fans; it made the Super Eagles players and their technical crew felt at home.

Interestingly, one player was the national hero in the encounter Samuel Chukweze the Villarreal talisman and Nigerian Cristiano Ronaldo was exceptional his pace, speed and ball control was fantastic he brought live into the competition.

Born on 22nd May, 1999 Samuel Chierenka is from Umuhia Abia State, Nigeria. A product of{New generation and Diamond} football Academies Samuel Cherenka Chukwueze is no doubt the Ronaldo of our time.

However, the Nigeria government, philanthropist and private investors can do more by setting up befitting football academies to enhance the discovery of our local talents and discover more Samuel Chierenka Chukwuezes’ in our Local areas.

At this point, I would like to sincerely call on the Nigeria Coach Genort Rohr to sustain the victory recorded in the African Cup of Nation and come home with Bronze Medal having crashed out at the semi-final.

The substitution of the young star Chukwueze with Henry Onyekuru was the greatest mistake Nigeria Super Eagle coach has ever made. All the football lovers in Nigeria including my friend Onogu Isah Mohammed (Galaticus) the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kogi State will not be happy with the substitution, nevertheless. I commend coach Rohr’s technical ability for going that far in the tournament.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
