Secretary General, Ebira Youth Peace Initiative Movement (EYPIM), Comrade Abduljelil El-Okene has appealed to political office holders to look the way of less-privileged Kogites during this Ramadan season and beyond.

EL-Okene made this statement at the Talakawa Summit he organized in Okene on Saturday.

He pleaded that altruist efforts will go a long way in making life better for the poor in the society.

“I want to appeal to the local government Administrators, GYB appointees and political office holders in the society to always remember the less-privileged in the society. There are many children without hope out there, we should come to their aid. There are boys and girls in our communities with such problem.

“Go and help the poor and visit the motherless babies’ home personally in this month of Ramadan. Why do you have to give it to your Imam, Pastor and the rich? There are so many sick people in hospitals that need money, and if you help those people, you are doing God’s work,” he said.
