Using God’s Word in our daily lives is not merely a religious exercise; it is the foundation of faith. Scripture gives believers a standard by which to understand life, make decisions, endure uncertainty and remain steady when circumstances change. Faith grows when God’s Word moves from the page into daily conduct.
Many people read the Bible for comfort but struggle to apply its principles when life becomes difficult. Yet faith is tested not when everything is working, but when answers are delayed. In those moments, God’s Word becomes an anchor: it teaches patience without passivity, courage without recklessness and hope without denial.
Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). The point is simple: physical needs do not sustain the whole person. We also need truth to guide our choices, discipline our desires and shape our response to adversity.

Applying Scripture does not mean pretending that problems do not exist. It means refusing to let problems have the final word. When we forgive because Scripture commands forgiveness, remain honest when dishonesty seems profitable, or continue doing what is right when no one is watching, faith becomes visible through action.
The secret, then, is not merely knowing God’s Word but living it. Read it. Believe it. Apply it. Let it shape your thoughts, words and decisions. Faith becomes stronger when the Word of God is no longer something we only hear, but something we practise every day.
