The Management of The Education Times has concluded plans to honour Hon. Aloysius Okino with a quiz competition among primary schools within Ajaokuta Local Government christen Hon. A. A. Okino Primary Schools Quiz Competition.
In a release today at Lokoja signed by Oladipo Makakase Bayode, the Publisher of the Tabloid described the programme as a recognition of Okino’s contributions to grassroot educational development.
It stated that Ajaokuta LG under Hon. Aloysius Okino has witnessed great reforms and development leading to good performance in various examinations.
According to the line up of activities, the district preliminaries for Ajaokuta, Eganyi and Ebiya districts will hold on 22nd March, final competition will hold on 25th will the presentation of award to winners will hold on 31st march 2016.
The statement further added that the Kogi state ALGON Chairman and Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta LG will be decorated as The Nigerian Education Times Grassroot Education man of the year at the ceremony which is to hold on 31st March, 2016 at the Secretariat of Ajaokuta Local Government Adogo under the chairmanship of His Royal Majesty, Musa Achuja, the Ohi of Eganyi as the chairman of the occasion while Hon. Edward Onoja, Chief of Staff to Kogi state Governor will deliver the key note address.
