HIS EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Olorunsuwa Elijah Ola hails from Oke- Offin Bunu. Born on the 11th of September 1979 in the peaceful town of Oke-Offin Bunu.
His father, Elder Moses Olorusuwa is a farmer, a known disciplinarian, while his mother is a petty trader.
Ola attended KBLGEA School, Oke-Offin, he had a brief stint at Okebukun High School before moving to Okoro Gbede High School where he completed his secondary education in 1997. He was at Kogi State Polytechnic for a Diploma programme between 2001-2002.
He proceeded to University of Ilorin where he got a degree in Political Science. He is currently awaiting his M.Sc result in the same discipline from the same University.
HIS PAST POLITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRIUMPHS
Ola was a two term Vice President of Bunu Students’ Union between 2004-2006. He was 3 times appointed the Editor-in-Chief of Bunu Students’ Union (2006, 2010 and 2013). Ola has remained an active member and promoter of union till date.
He was General Secretary of the National Association of Okun Students(Caretaker Committee) in 2004 he became the President of Unilorin Chapter of the same union in 2007.
Olorunsuwa Elijah Ola was elected President of Postgraduate Students’ Association, Unilorin in 2014.
A position that gave him a platform to further showcase his innate ability of strong advocacy, quality representation and good leadership.
He was able to increase the revenue of the association from N6milion to over N50milion a feat that many see as near impossibility.
HIS WORK LIFE
Mr. Olorunsuwa started his work life with Fototek Industries in the Northern town of Funtua, Katsina between 1998-2000. He joined Kogi Affairs Newspaper as Reporter in 2004, a role he continue to perform until the death of the Managing Editor/Publisher (late Chief Kola Toluhi in 2015)
During his mandatory 1 year post degree service(NYSC) he served as Media Assistant to the Clerk of the House, Yobe State House of Assembly Damaturu between 2008-2009
Ola was to later join Maayoit Healthcare Ltd, as an Admin/ Logistic Officer. He left Maayoit Healthcare to become the General Manager of Ayodele Medical Centre. He thereafter moved to Garin Alimi Hospital to become the Business Development Manager.
Ola in his quest to develop himself later joined Healthcare International Ltd as Branch Manager between 2014- date (all in Ilorin).
He is the MD/CEO of Civaviu Services Nigeria, an outfit that has interest in Publishing/Printing, Media Consultancy, Adverts among others.
TRAININGS, RECOGNITION AND AWARD
He has attended several training on human resources/relation management, business development strategies, healthcare financing and management and effective healthcare delivery.
He has several awards and recognition to his credit
HIS PASSION
Ola is passionate about human capital development, community development, economic and political emancipation of the youths and emancipation of the oppressed.
Ola has been involved in provision of educational aids material to some students. He has provided some students with assistance toward JAMB registration. He strives annually to ensure that students (both postgraduate and undergraduate) of Okun origin secure admission to Unilorin.
His Likes
Ola is well travelled, he likes assisting others and he enjoys meeting new people while maintaining a forever relationship with the existing people.

He is a responsible husband and a caring father. He is blessed with 3 adorable kids.
