Chief, Engineer, Doctor Sule Brano, is the son of Haruna Iyale, a household name in the Omedo enclaves of Anyigba, Kogi State. He happened to have gotten hold of life at its soft center from childhood and made the best of it.

Though it is accepted that life itself is a puzzle that only a few people are lucky enough to unravel, Engr. Sule Brano is one such lucky person.

In his serene, distinguished, and eventful life, he has recorded successes that can best be compared to those of people who have lived for more than two centuries. A distinguished, professional, and successful career public servant who rises through the ranks to the pinnacle is not a mere title. A quiet humanitarian, a man whose good deeds and hard work have become ingrained in his fiber, with extraordinary brilliance, focus, and intelligence that collude with fate and place themselves at his back, indeed, he has had every step of his journey be a route to fortune.

Engineer Sule Brano, even in his prime, has worked and is still working to improve the lives of the downtrodden and less privileged in society. His antecedents and disposition have earned him the garment of honor among his contemporaries.

Indeed, his friends and schoolmates at the old Government Secondary School, Dekina, and the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, knew how excellent this young man could be. But with prayers, determination, faith, and support from his family, most especially his brother and role model, a highly reputable engineer and port consultant, Engr. Yusuf Haruna, he became not only versatile but also successful.

We pray that one day we shall step into your shoes so that we may contribute our quota to the development of our fatherland. We also pray to wear the garment of honor as you did rather than wearing the mask of disgrace as portrayed by our generation.

In his educational progression, he went to the University of Technology Owerri and the Federal University of Technology, Minna for his first, second, and Ph.D. programs.

Engr. Sule Brano silently sponsored and assisted a reasonable number of students in acquiring various certificates for self-reliance. A developmental activist cum philanthropist of our time, he recently mounted solar-energy streetlights across major roads in Anyigba due to the epileptic nature of power outages in the town. In his personal capacity, he has fixed some township roads in Anyigba as a temporary measure. The moment he assumed the position of Special Adviser Technical to the then Honorable Minister of State for Agriculture and a Director in the same Ministry, he employed people in different Ministries and Parastatals.

Engr. Sule Brano is a quintessential man of humor, simplicity, and hospitality. As a member of the Society of Engineering, it is obvious and clear that he has paid his dues to the society. We invoke the Supreme Being, the omnipotent and omnipresent, to continue to guard and guide him, along with his family, well-wishers, and all the good people with humanitarian ideology. Indeed, we are proudly proud of you always as you celebrate your day. Happy birthday!
