                                                ENROLLED ORDER

Pursuant to the Judgment of Kogi State High Court sitting at Kotonkarfe in suit No. HC/KK/002cv/2013, delivered on 8th December 2014 by Hon. Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye, which declared the composition of the 3rd defendant Kogi State independent Electoral Commission, (KOGIEC) null and void.

AND UPON HOLDING that the 3rd defendant (KOGIEC) was not properly constituted in accordance with section 200 (1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended),

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED

  1. That all acts and actions of the defendants in relation to the local government conducted by the 3rd defendant on May 4th 2013 become a nullity.
  2. That the most senior directors of the local government councils assume responsibility for each local government pending when another local government election is conducted.
