The Confluence Stadium in Lokoja Has Not Been Officially Handed Over to the Kogi State Government – Adams

The Confluence Stadium in Lokoja will longer host matches in the ongoing 2012 Federation Cup because the stadium has not been officially handed over to the Kogi State Government.

Chairman of the Kogi State Football Association, Yahaya Adams, clarified this when explaining the rationale behind the shift of venue from the Confluence Stadium.

The Confluence Stadium, Lokoja was supposed to host Group C matches from July 17.

However, following latest developments, that will no longer be the case.

The two tickets in Group C will be contested for by Enugu Rangers, Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, Prime FC of Oshogbo and Dynamite Force of Edo, a Nationwide League club.
