As the humble, Peaceful and Politically rooted Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad join the rest of Nigerians to Celebrate the victory of President Muhammad Buhari in the just concluded Presidential elections, the Council Administrator humbly Congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr Abubakar Sadiq Ohere, the State Accountant-General, Alh. Jibril Momoh and other government appointees whose immense contributions saw Okene Local Government top all other Local Governments in both National Assembly and Presidential election results.

Engr. Abdulrazaq thanked the people of Okene Local Government for making him proud. He attributed the success to good policies of government.

He said, “we worked hard day and night to improve the living standard of the people, we did several interventions, we touched the people’s lives in many positive ways and of course we created a peaceful environment for all irrespective of religious, tribe and political affiliations. The people reciprocate by voting APC and coming top in all results both in Presidential and National Assembly elections.”

In the Senate elections, Okene delivered 31,138 votes to Alh. Yakubu Oseni to seal the fate of his closest rival, Ms Natasha Akpoti while in the Presidential election, again the people of Okene Local Government also gave 37,617 votes to President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection victory, the highest votes recorded for APC in Kogi State.

I am indeed proud of your undiluted loyalty and Commitment. Let’s do it again on 9th March, 2019 by voting massively for Lawi A. T Ahmed and Ahmed Dahiru for Okene I & II State Assembly respectively.
