The newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Grassroot Mobilization for Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Tade Oshaloto has expressed his gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for his new appointment.
Hon. Tade made this known in Lokoja the state capital during a media interview.
According to him, his experience in his previous assignment as Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters in charge of Yagba West local government, as well as his grassroots oriented background, will help him to succeed in his new job as grassroot mobilizer.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for the political will to give youths greater opportunities to serve in his administration. This, according to the newly appointed mobilizer, is massive and unprecedented in political history of the state.
“His Excellency is not just a governor for the APC but for the entire Kogi State and it is my duty to showcase to our people what the government of His Excellency has done and what he is doing with a view to ensure their continued support and goodwill.
“As an individual who is close to the grassroot, I am going to mobilize the people to actively participate to take advantage of various socio-economic opportunities the New Direction administration provides for the citizens of Kogi State,” he said.
Hon. Tade assured the governor of his commitment to working hard in his new assignment so as to justify the confidence reposed in him.
