The attention of the Kogi State NYCN has been drawn to a purported publication made in some sections of the media stating that the suspended Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter, Comr. Usman Ogohi Samuel has been reinstated by one Amb. Muktar Akhosile who happens to be the Vice Chairman of the North Central Zone of the Council.
While we describe the correspondence as unfortunate; we will like to draw the attention of the general public to the fact that, the said Comr. Akhosile Muktar has no such powers in the Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to so act. We will like to also advise the said Comr. Akhosile Muktar and his Comrade in futility to acquaint themselves to the Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, especially the relevant sections such as Section 10.6 which deals with the Function of the Executive of the Council, as it is pertinent for members of any organization to familiarize themselves with the grand norm of the institution they claim to represent
I will like to further school, Comr. Akhosile Muktar and his co-traveler of the importance of Article 21:1 – OFFENCES, PUNISHMENT, DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE AND APPEAL of the Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to be better equipped with information and knowledge in other to act right at all time.
It will interest Comr. Akhosile Muktar and his co-traveler, Amb. Usman Ogohi Samuel to know that the suspension of the latter is not done by just any organ of the Youth Council but the The Management Meeting which is supreme. (Advised to see section 10.4).
Comr. Akhosile Muktar who has not visited or called any member of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter for the purpose of fact-finding, sat somewhere to certify the stolen common wealth of Kogi Youth he received to scribble a disjointed letter allegedly reinstating the suspended Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter.
Finally, I will like to use this medium to call on the President of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb Seriake Sokubo to as a matter of urgency invoke disciplinary action against Comr. Akhosile Muktar for violating section 21.1-ix (Create a Parallel Youth Council, Factions, or Organ of the Youth Council) of the constitution and to also call on all the Youths of Kogi State to remain calm and resolute for no amount of scheming and rhetorics can detract the resolution of the management meeting in sanitizing the council of looters of her resources and squanderers of the goodwill of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter.
