One of the leading aspirants for the State House of Assembly, Kabba/Bunu constituency, Hon. Arokoyo David Femi has congratulated the executive governor of Kogi state as the state celebrates its 27th year of creation.
Hon. Arokoyo stated that: “the strength of the State today at 27 years is our unity and so I am using this occasion of our anniversary to call on the good people of Kogi State to continue to live in peace with one another. We can achieve so many things in the state when we remain united. We cannot afford to fail our founding fathers. We should maintain the existing ethnic harmony in the state as this is the only way to attract more investors and development to the state”
He however maintained that while the past administrations had contributed their quota towards the development of the state, the present administration has shored up the base of the state and has placed it among the comity of states to be proud of in Nigeria.
Hon. Arokoyo noted that the state has come a long way and will no doubt still attain its lofty position.
“A child born 27 years ago is fast growing into a full adult, but I must say that the state is on course.
“Consequent upon these monumental developmental projects and achievements of His Excellency, since his assumption of office in 2016 as the Executive Governor of Kogi State, the State House of Assembly have passed a vote of confidence on His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello while at the same time, promising to stand solidly behind his government by providing an enabling environment for the state government to execute more developmental projects for the benefit of all Kogites.
“As the governor of Kogi State, you have maintained a standard that have given all Kogites a pride of place, fulfillment and sense of belonging through your magnanimous representation, practical demonstration of your soaring leadership charisma, wisdom and prudent management of the meager resources available to the state that have transformed the entire state since your assumption of office,” he said.
