State Assembly Election; Okene Administrator Meet Agada Clans

Few days to the State House of Assembly elections, the Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad in his usual style took the campaign message to the five sub-clans of Agada clans in Okengwe kingdom, Okene Local Government Area.

The meeting which was held at the premises of Ohindase of Okengwe had in attendance women, youths and elders of all sub-clans in Agada.

In his address, the Council Administrator appealed to his brethren to come out in their numbers and vote the candidate of APC for the State House of Assembly election, Okene II Constituency, Ahmed Dahiru Amewuru (Hacco).

He reminded them that, the election of Assembly Member is important and germane as it form an arm of government in the state that is expected to work in harmony with the governor for the smooth running of government at the state level. This he said, the people must elect credible candidates as presented by All Progressive Congress (APC) to consolidate the new direction agenda.

The Council Administrator however thanked Agada clans for coming out in their numbers to vote the candidates of APC in the last Presidential and National Assembly elections, and enjoined them to do same on 9th March, 2019.

The Chairman assured them that government is aware of some of their problems and plans are already underway to address them in due course.

He said, similar meeting was also held yesterday in his office to drum support for APC Candidate for Okene I Constituency, Hon. Lawi A. T Ahmed.

Earlier, the Council Administrator paid homage to the Ohindase of Okengwe Kingdom, HRH, Stephen Bello for royal blessings and prayers for the peaceful conduct of the State House of Assembly elections across Okene Local Government and the entire Ebiraland.
