At some point we the youths of this great nation will have to stand up and fight for our right either in a legal way or in not so legal way as long as we will get to emancipate the present and the future generation from slavery of any kind either mentally or physically.

I will like to call your attention to how our production industries have been turned into a modern slave trade. Our graduates are being treated in such an inhuman way that bleeds the heart. The presence of Indians, Lebanese and some “coloured expatriate” have turned Nigerian graduates to slaves even in their father land.

I noticed that no one not even the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) is interested in the well being of their citizens and I noticed also that the press is silent on this issue.

I read a lot of expatriates are being kidnapped around the country and I foresee a whole lot of such if the issue is not well addressed.

The numbers of hours individuals work under severe condition is in no way healthy and the compensation does not in anyway commensurate with the short life span they have to live because of this strenuous Job.

Sir, since your site is one that is widely read. I hope you will help by broadcasting this, to bring to the notice of the public and the so called Labour congress the demoralising condition we face as graduates in the hands of employers. For example I work 12hrs (9am-9pm) from Monday to Saturday and work 8hrs on Sundays for peanuts and that is the story of millions of graduates in my dear country. But we are the future of this country and whether Positively or Negatively we all will in one way or the other impact this country.

Maybe someday we will come to terms with the fact that good grades, befitting hard work and morality does not guarantee success in this country anymore. Then we will be turned to thieves, fraudsters, kidnappers, robbers all of which are being celebrated in Nigeria.

I am writing this just to call your attention to this part of the economic life of our dear country and as anonymous as I would like to be, this country is ours and I am already thinking of what will be left for my children even when as a young man the nation I served wholeheartedly for a whole year had given me nothing but heartaches.

Thank you for your efforts and I believe “Nigeria shall be born again” we will not stop until we get our rightful inheritance.
