The campaign train of Senator Smart Adeyemi was on Thursday involved in a ghastly motor accident.
The accident occurred along Lokoja – Obajana road.
The senator was returning from Obajana in continuation of his campaign for the February 16 general election.
According to an eye witness, an oncoming vehicle lost control and had a head on collusion with the Senator’s pilot vehicle; whom in an attempt to make a dodge, stopped and got hit from behind by one of the senator’s coastal buses.
The coastal bus was carrying 32 supporters while the pilot vehicle has police orderly and some supporters.
The driver and four others who were the most wounded are still being attended to in a nearby hospital.
