Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Shiru Lawal, has commiserated with the Manbo family over the demise of Sheikh Muhammad Saqir Manbo a.k.a Malam Chalili, whose sad event took place in the early hour of Thursday.
The Administrator in a condolence message issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Yabagi Umar, and made available to journalists, described his death as a huge loss to the ancient city of Lokoja and the Local Government Area at large.
Shiru said the late Islamic cleric would be sorely missed for his fatherly roles and useful advice to government added that he was exemplary and commands respect both from the people and among his colleagues.
He noted that the deceased never for once failed to provide useful suggestions on various issues especially at his ramandan tafsir, adding that he was always on top in rendering advise anytime he was called upon to do so
The Administrator further described the late Malam Chalili as a peace lover who ensured peaceful co-existence among his immediate community.
Praying that Allah forgive his sins and grant him Al-Janah Firdaus, Shiru also sympathised with his immediate family and prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
