Senator Sunday Karimi Felicitate Nigerians on 65th Independence Celebration

Senator Sunday Karimi, (APC, Kogi West) has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating 65 years uninterrupted Independence from the colonial masters.

“It’s with great joy, honour and privilege that we are basking in the euphoria of freedom in the last 65 years. This is no mean achievement,” a statement from his official handle was quoted.

He, however, craved the indulgence of Nigerians to be positive, enthusiastic and peaceful in all their endeavours because there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, most especially, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has started well. Though, there are initial tensions and apprehensions but today, Nigeria and Nigerians are reaping bountifully from their patience,” the statement read further.

Senator Sunday Karimi also acknowledged the fact that we are not there yet but he is optimistic that going forward, Nigerians will continue to experience accelerated development, growth, meaningful welfarism, well – secured environment, employment opportunities and investment initiatives.
