In recognition of his proven integrity, simplicity and high character standard, the Senator representing Kogi Central, Senator Yakubu Oseni has been conferred with “Ethical Hero Award”.
The award was given to the lawmaker in Abuja today by the Centre for Ethical Conduct Orientation and Empowerment (CECOE) at the National Merit House, Maitama Abuja.
Executive General of CECOE, while making brief remarks at the event, noted that the centre is set out to preach and sensitise the people on ethical conduct and moderate lifestyle, a rare virtue or character trait which Senator Oseni abundantly exude in all his engagements.
The Director therefore urged individuals and government officials to explore the power of morals and ethical conducts as a tool to revamp the nation’s image, citing Senator Oseni as an epitome of integrity that is worthy of emulation.
Senator Yakubu Oseni, ably represented by his Personal Assistant, Mall. Yusuf Abdulmumin appreciated the organisation for the honour, just as he promised not to renege on his deeds which has brought the recognition.
“Distinguished Senator Oseni is a man that is contented with the will of God. Aside stiff resistance to immortality and corrupt practices, humanitarian gesture has been in the centre of his engagements even before dabbling into politics. Thanks for the award”, he said.
