The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has commiserated with the entire people of Ebiraland over the death of their foremost traditional ruler, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty Dr. Ado Ibrahim CON.
Senator Ohere in a statement he personally signed stated that: “My heartfelt condolences go to Kogi State Government, the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Ebira Traditional Council, the good people of Ebiraland, the immediate and extended families of His Royal Majesty.
“We especially mourn with Prince, Maleek Ado Ibrahim, and his siblings on this loss.”
“He was a bridge-builder and an icon of peace who preached and worked for harmonious relationships between his people and other communities in Kogi State and beyond.” Sen. Ohere said.
“Saaki was in a class of his own in wisdom, patience, and love for his people. He was a great servant of God. He will be sorely missed by all.
“He would be remembered for his relentless commitment to the development of his community as well as his tireless devotion to fostering unity between Ebiraland and its neighbouring communities.
The late monarch was favoured and blessed by Allah with old age, which is one of the strong factors and indication of forgiveness of shortcomings by Allah.
I pray to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the departed traditional ruler, grant him a place in Aljannatu Firdaus, and give the royal family, friends and the people of Ebiraland the fortitude to bear the loss.
