Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. I join my family and the good people of Kogi State, in deeply commiserating with you the immediate family, the extended family and the good people of Bassa-Nge Kingdom over the death of our dearly beloved Royal Father and King.
It is painful losing a rare gem, honest, discipline and reliable royal father, who has contributed immensely to the development of the State with his wealth of experience.
He has been an epitome of humility, self-less service and patriotism and has offered his life for the sake of humanity.
I have worked closely with him for four (4) years during my time as the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. He was a role model and an advicer whom I have gained alot from.
May Allah grant the families and good people of Bassa-Nge Kingdom the fortitude to bear the loss.
May his gentle soul rest in Aljannah Firdausi, Amin.
