The Senator representing Kogi Central in the red chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Ahmed Ogembe has called on Nigerian Christians to use the Easter period to pray for peace and growth of Nigerian economy.
Senator Ogembe in an Easter message to Christians counseled all and sundry to see the death of Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for humanity.
The Senator urged Christians to continue to live together peacefully and in love and harmony with one another and with believers of other religion.
While congratulating Christians, he urged them to celebrate in moderation and to devote time to show gratitude to God for his mercies and to reflect on the developmental problems in Nigeria with a view to seeking God’s intervention.
