Kogi Central has been craving for proper representation at the red chamber from time immemorial. Just as we thought all hope is lost Senator Abubakar Sadiku Ohere appears to turn our frown outside down and put everlasting smiles on our faces.
Engr. Ohere who is a veteran engineer, played a pivot role in ensuring the developmental strides achieved by His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello as his commissioner for works. The good people of Kogi State experienced the good governance they have been longing for a long time.
We went into rapturous ecstasy when Ohere became our senator. We were convinced that he would use his heaped experience to bring hope to the hopeless people of Kogi Central and, by extension, brings more development to consolidate on his achievements.
However, in a twist of fate, God Almighty paused him for a moment. He is coming back to fulfil his quest for the good people of Kogi Central. We were tantalized. We only tasted good representation for months. We are craving for more!
Senator Abubakar Sadiku Ohere did not disconnect himself from the people. He is building more connections because he recognized himself with the problems the people are facing, and he knows he is the man sent to end the problems.
Other politicians would go into oblivion until the election period before they come with prepared propaganda to lure voters. Ohere stands ground with the people, building trust and connections. What an uncommon politician.
I call on the good people of Kogi Central to not lose hope. God only wants us to taste something different so that we can appreciate Him better when Ohere takes the mantle of leadership in the next dispensation.
