One of the four abducted Mopamuro local government workers, Mrs Olubunmi Abraham, is dead.
The kidnap victims were reportedly heading to Obajana, to get bank statements of account requested for by the Kogi State Staff Audit Appeal and Complaints Committee sitting in Lokoja, when they ran into men of the underworld.
Three other abductees had been released and are back home. A search party of courageous hunters in Bunuland reportedly went round the thick forests around Bunuland and Obajana area. The hunters found Mrs Abraham’s corpse in the bush.
Thick cloud of mourning envelopes Mopa town. Preparations are on now for her burial.
