The DCN Job & Omada Foundation has granted scholarship to 28 indigent students in Kogi state.
The Foundation, instituted by Mr and Mrs James Ogwu Onoja SAN, gave out cheques of N50,000 to each of the benefiting students in Ogugu, Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State.
Dr Daniel Itodo, who represented the founder of the foundation at occasion, urged the beneficiaries to live up to expectations for which the scholarship is intended.
The scholarship, according to Dr Itodo, would be expanded to accommodate indigent students who are finding it difficult to meet the financial obligation in their academic pursuits.
“The scholarship is only awarded to those students who are indigent and have difficulty in settling their school fees.
“We thank Mr & Mrs James Ogwu SAN in his untiring efforts to put smiles on people’s faces and it’s a thing pride to call it DCN Job & Omada Foundatiom,” he said.
Similarly, Chief Paul Ibrahim, the Onu Aja Ofante (Kpareko), eulogized the Onojas for putting smiles on face of orphans and giving hopes to the hopeless.
