Dekina-Bassa House of Representatives hopeful, Comrade Johnson has applauded the formation of ‘Save Kogi Project’ coalition by senators and other top politicians from the state.

The coalition was launched in Abuja yesterday.

Comrade Musa, while reacting to his appointment to serve as Deputy Director, Protocol and Project Implementation for the coalition, commended the efforts of the Director General of the group, Comrade Friday Sanni Makama, for his boldness in confronting issues in Kogi state.

He eulogized the efforts of Senator Dino Melaye and Senator Atai Idoko for being at the fore-front of the liberation of the state.

Musa, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, promised the support of Dekina/Bassa people to any projects capable of taking the state out of the current quagmire.

We will work together as a team. This movement is devoid of party affiliations, hence even Gov Yahaya Bello is welcome provided he will comport himself to the project and commitment to save Kogi State from the misrule of his government,” he said.

He also commended Senator Muhammed Ohiare for apologizing to the people of Kogi East and West for having a misnomer as Governor.

Ohiare had apologized to the people of Kogi State, saying Governor Yahaya Bello is not the kind of power shift they clamoured and worked for.
