Former governor of Kogi state and leader of Ibro political family, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has charged security agencies to ensure killer of the late PDP woman leader, Salome Acheju Abuh are not only paraded made to face the full wrath of the law.
Idris made this known when he paid the family of the deceased a condolence visit in Abuja.
He described the late woman leader as a grassroot politician and a strong member of PDP in the last two decades, that led to her election into the Ofu local government as a councillor during his tenure.
The former governor said the gruesome murder of the late woman leader, who was burnt to death in her home by political thugs, is horrible and unheard of in the political history of Nigeria, particularly since the return of democracy in 1999.
He said the task of protecting lives and properties of citizens before, during and after elections is the responsibility of the government.
He urged the family to take solace in the reality that late Mrs Salome Acheju Abuh lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation to all and sundry.
