Dame Lucia Rabiu Alfa, the wife of Hon Rabiu Alfa and honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly has part of sallah activities distributed clothes, food Stuff, other utilities to women in Ankpa local government area of Kogi state.
While making the distributions, Madam Lucia described the gesture as part of her “Lucia Hand Initiative” which she has overtime used to do sensitizations, awareness campaign and other social activities geared towards improving the livelihood of women, widows and and children across the area.
Highlight of the distribution was a moment taken by Madam Lucia to State in very clear terms that the gesture is one borne out of her penchant for active women participation in politics even as she lamented the endemic attitude of men in sidelining women during times of political dividends vowing not to ever let women down.
Earlier in her brief remarks, the APC women leader of Enjema Ward IV Mrs Rhoda Idoga thanked Madam Lucia for her supportive nature which she stressed to be highly instrumental to Hon Rabiu’s rising political profile.
In her vote of thanks, the assistant women leader, Amina Karimu expressed sincere gratitude of herself and other beneficiaries of the gesture praying that God almighty rewards the giver and her husband who she described as an uncommon politician owing to his humility, giving stead and sensitivity to the well being of his constituents.
