Hon. Mohammed Shaibu Tetes has congratulated the Muslim community on the completion of this year Ramadan fast.
In his sallah message on the occasion of the Muslims’ festival of Eid-El-Kabir, Mohammed Shaibu Tetes predicted that Nigeria will make quicker progress towards the fulfillment of her great potentials as a nation if the citizens foster peace, security and stability.
“I wish to sincerely congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters for the successful completion of this year Ramadan fast. May Allah SWT grant us our heart desires (Ameen).
“As we celebrate Eid el Fitri this Friday, I urge all of us, both Christians and Moslems, to reflect on the teaching and learning of the Holy Month of Ramadan which include personal sacrifices, self denial, forgiveness, tolerance, love and prayers.
“Further more, we must continue to pray for the emancipation of our dear State, Kogi. Prayer changes things, Insha Allah, with commitment, discipline, focus and determination, we are sure of rebuilding Kogi State of our collective dreams. Kogi State must be great,” he said.
