member representing Okene I state constituency at the Kogi State House of Assemnly, Hon. Lawi AT Ahmed, has urged Kogites to make the fear of God the foundation of their lives as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Lawi, in a message signed by his media aide, Comrade Danfulani Lukman, said the festival symbolises the fear of Allah and the desire of man to always comply with the wish of his creator as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
He noted that with fear of Allah, peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and love, kogites will tolerate one another,
work together and be able to harness the abundant resources as a progressive state.
Hon. Lawi also urged the Muslim faithfuls to pray for the sustenance of peace, tolerance and progress of the state during the celebrate of Eid-el-Kabir.
He urged Muslims to fervently pray for the progress and success of the ongoing change project of the present
administration, under Governor Yahaya Bello.
Hon. Lawi prayed that the benefits of the celebration will not elude all the Muslims the country.
Besides, he urged all Muslims to also use the occasion to pray for Kogi state.
