Dear Sir

REQUEST FOR RECONCILIATION IN KOGI STATE APC

Democracy suffers because good people watch things to go wrong, in the light of the above the Concern Constituency Citizens Kogi State chapter-urge the National All Progressive Congress should come quickly to wade into the issue between His Excellency Alh, Yahaya Bello and Senator Dino Melaye in Kogi State to avoid break down.

This two leaders share different political ideology and has since refuse to harness that to move Kogi State forward, both the Governor and Senator are members of the APC and the Senator is the only APC Senator in the State.

If the dispute is not settled on time, it can disintegrate into an uncontrollable situation, which opposition will use as an avenue to take over the state from the ruling party.

Politicians are already warming up for the 2019 elections and political stalwarts are already looking for opportunities to harness.

By helping to broker peace between the two aggrieved parties in the State, the National leadership will further be well respected as one that wants and believe in the unity of the party.

Going down memory lane, the political crisis in Rivers State started with something like this, and up till now can all see the outcome and what is still happening there. Moreover, they are even in different parties, which make Kogi State very peculiar because both the Governor and Senator are in the same party.

So it is very important for the national secretariat of the APC under your able leadership to intercede and mediate in the unending crisis between the Governor and senator, as APC cannot afford to lose the two party men and the people in the country are also watching and waiting to see how the APC will settle the matter.

We hope that as matter of urgency, measures should be taken at the national secretariat to settle and put an end to this crisis.

We would continue to advocate for peace and urge both the leaders to shield their sword and allow peace to reign so that Kogi can benefits from PMB dividends of democracy.

Thanks and God bless you.

Yours in Nation Building,

Ekundayo Abayomi Segun,

National President,

Concern Constituency Citizens.
