Member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani, has pledged to rehabilitate Ageva water board to ensure regular supply of portable water across all areas in Okene 2 and some parts of Adavi Eba in Adavi local government area.
The Rep member made this known when he visited the community water board in his constituency on Friday.
Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani, who was conducted on a tour of the facility by the management team, observed that most of the machines were in a state of disrepair and required immediate replacement.
The management team also informed him that due to the bad condition of the machines, water discharge and distribution have been hampered, leaving some areas without access to clean water.
The federal lawmaker pledged to take action to address the situation and immediately released cash worth of millions of Naira for the replacement of all bad machines at the water board.
Furthermore, Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani reiterated his commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
He stated that the provision of clean water to the people of Okene 2 Constituency and Adavi Eba is a top priority and he would do everything within his power to ensure that it is achieved.
Engr George, a member of the management team, and Pastor Garuba appreciated the timely intervention of Hon Ozigi Muhammed Tijani over the water board that has been faulty. They made it clear that as much as the money needed has been given, supply of water shall definitely cut across Idoma, Obehira, Ozuma, Otoyi, Ageva, Makaranta, Okengwe and Adavi Eba to ease the acute lack of water in those aforementioned areas.
They prayed for the lawmaker and wished him more strength to keep doing the good work he has started.
