Rep Member Halims Inspects Water Project, Assures Market Women of More Dividends

The member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has inspected his completed solar powered borehole projects in Ankpa Central Garage, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi state.

The legislator visited the project site while inspecting for action, a bad section of the Ankpa Central Market during the yuletide.

Besides the solar powered borehole which is constructed with an aluminum steel overhead tank at the garage, the Federal Lawmaker also have to his credit a retinue of ongoing projects which its impact has direct bearing on the people of the Federal Constituency.

Among these projects are an erosion control and drainage project at Ejinya-Efofe in Ankpa Ward II, construction of a Digital Economy Centre at Young Muslim Community Secondary School Ankpa and six classrooms block at Ankpa Community Secondary School.

It can be recalled that aside the massive installation of solar powered street lights in Ankpa, Imane and Abejukolo, Hon. Halims has also perfected the processes leading to the distribution of multi million Naira worth of scientific kits to St Charles College Ankpa in particular and other Science Oriented High Schools across Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency.

Halims while addressing his supporters at the Central garage borehole location revealed that the role of market women and the road transport workers can not be overemphasized in every society and hence, the idea behind him citing the borehole at a location that can strategically serve both bodies, adding that more dividends of democracy awaits the Constituency in 2022.

The Lawmaker promised his positive intervention to the rehabilitation of the market, commended contractors for their pace of work, mobilization of equipment to the various sites and urged the contractors to ensure they meet the delivery date without compromising quality and standards.
