In furtherance of this proven fact, the member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, have commenced the construction of six class-rooms, staff room and toilets at Ankpa Community Secondary School in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The project is intended to curb the problem of inadequate conducive learning environment in the area. Moreso that a conducive environment is necessary for both teachers and students for effective teaching and learning in school, respectively.
Rep Halims is very determined to see this project completed in the shortest time frame. Been that he is determined, committed and focused on delivering dividends to the people; more similar projects are expected to take place in all parts of the constituency in addition to his existing strides in education development.
It can be recalled that prior to the commencement of this project, Rep. Halims had received a letter addressed to the principal of the Young Muslim Secondary School Ankpa, being a notification of a Digital Economy Center(DEC) project that was facilitated by Hon. Halims.
The said letter read in part that, “this laudable intervention is facilitated by your Member, House of Representatives upon the recommendation of the Chairman, House Committee on ICT.”
