In a continuation of the SEA empowerment programs, Representative Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem launched a fertilizer distribution initiative in Emiworo community on Monday.
The event commenced with a visit to the Palace of Alh Sheidu Abdullahi, the Aletso of Emiworo where Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem (SEA) expressed his commitment to furthering development in the community, assuring the monarch and local residents of more developmental initiatives.
At the fertilizer flag-off, SEA appealed to representatives of farmers from various units in the area to ensure the effective delivery and utilization of the fertilizers. He emphasized the crucial role this initiative plays as the administration of President Ahmed Tinubu intensifies its fight against food security.
Representative Sanni urged the citizens to continue backing Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, who has already initiated a rice mill project in the area. He noted the region’s substantial land mass, which holds potential for numerous agricultural developments.
Kogi State House of Assembly member, Hon Jibril Abu praised the lawmaker’s foresight and dedication to fostering unity within the party while setting a developmental pace for the constituency.
Dr. Musa Sandra, the Special Adviser to the Governor on the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), also addressed the gathering, commending the lawmaker for his initiative and urging farmers not to resell the fertilizers.
“End users should harness the benefits of this empowerment, which will motivate the Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem to continue similar efforts in the future,” she added.
Many speakers at the event took a moment to appreciate the lawmaker’s commitment to his campaign promises, lauding his successful initiatives that uphold his campaign slogan, “Let’s Do It Differently.”
