Member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Muhammed Tijani Ozigis, has distributed bags of rice to Christian faithful in the constituency.
The lawmaker distributed the rice on Monday to enable the Christian folks celebrate Christmas and have enough to extend to their neighbours.
He assured constituents of more support from him to ensure their standard of living is improved upon.
“I am glad to join my Christian brothers and sisters to celebrate the Christmas. I am supporting this year’s celebrations with my widows mite.
“The Christmas celebrations calls for sober reflection on the teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasizes sacrifice, love and unity,” he said.
He called on the people to continue to be their brother’s keeper at all times.
The Rep member stated that irrespective of where the people come from or their religious backgrounds, they must imbibe the spirit of oneness and work towards a prosperous constituency under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
