Member representing Dekina/Bassa in the House of Representatives, Alhaji Hassan Abdullahi has presented seven offer of employment letters to some of his constituents.
The move, according to the federal lawmaker, is to attract more opportunities to the people of Dekina/Bassa constituency in the area of employment.
The seven beneficiaries who cuts across the two local government areas are to be absorbed into agencies, ministries and departments of the federal government establishments.
Hassan Abdullahi is known to have facilitated employment slots into various establishments for many Igala sons and daughters before joining the political space. He has decided to redouble his efforts to eradicate growing unemployment and poverty in the land.
Honourable Abdullahi, while presenting letters of appointment, assured the people of his constituency of doing anything humanly possible to reduce the scourge of unemployable youths and graduates in the land to the barest minimum.
He said the gesture is devoid of political undertone, but aimed at improving the personal and general socio-economic situation of the people.
The lawmaker had earlier presented cash and other gift items to constituents to mark this year’s Christmas celebration.
