The Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives and member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has in addition to his numerous human capacity development programs facilitated the training of not less than five hundred vulnerable widows, physically challenged people and youths across his constituency.
The training which focused on soap making and agricultural value chain was organised in partnership with the Centre For Management Development with a view to positively impact the livelihood of the participants whom were drawn from all over Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government Areas.
The resource person for the agricultural value chain, Mr Ohiemi Onuh Kingsley noted that the past, present and future of the world is agriculture as he underscored the training as a clear indication of the sincerity of Rep. Halims’ goodwill for his constituents’ economic advancement adding that the training should be taken very seriously.

While monitoring the training, a Director from the Centre For Management Development, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammed called on the participants to put the training into practical use. He commended the resource person for their excellent presentations and urged beneficiaries to support their representative so as to attract more dividends of democracy.
On her path, the lead anchor of the liquid soap making training, Ms. Beauty Ngozi urged the beneficiaries to take the training seriously in view of the fact that liquid soap is a daily commodity that has the potential of improving anybody’s livelihood if consistently produced and supplied in commercial quantities within a neighborhood.

It is worthy of note that many people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency have been trained in the numerous trades, different entrepreneurship skills and capacity building programs of Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims Ali, PhD with a view to boost the local economy cum capacity of his Constituents as evident in the quality of programs and number of beneficiaries that have been captured so far.
